Once we completed the siding and decking on this stunning Chautauqua Lake home, the homeowner; who also happens to be an architect, asked us to create an outdoor living space that would complement the home’s design and feel like it had always been there.
This custom structure was designed with versatility in mind, featuring the ability to open on three sides, creating a covered outdoor space that seamlessly connects with the surrounding landscape. Inside, a gas fireplace provides warmth and comfort for those cooler days and evenings, while the outdoor kitchen makes it the perfect space for entertaining family and friends.
The patio pavers and landscaping were expertly completed by Rob Cochran, who went above and beyond to ensure the outdoor area blended naturally with the existing home and property. We also incorporated stone accents that tie into the chimney, helping the addition feel like a seamless extension of the original design.
We’ve had the opportunity to work on several homes designed and owned by architects, and it’s always a rewarding experience. Their creativity and vision challenge us to do our best work, and we take great pride in helping bring those ideas to life.

I stopped by a client’s lake cottage last night to show a prospective client some of the unique features of this home we built last year.
This home was designed with the idea that it had been there for generations. Every detail was chosen to create that timeless lake cottage feel.
The shiplap walls throughout, vintage fireplace, repurposed antique doors carefully fitted into their new home, and the vintage clawfoot tub in the upstairs common bath all help tell the story.
Tile selections were chosen to maintain the vintage character throughout the home. The kitchen stove was retrofitted and reconditioned, adding a perfect pop of color while continuing the old cottage aesthetic.
The homeowners stayed true to their vision by incorporating vintage furniture and décor throughout the space, tying everything together beautifully.
It’s always rewarding to work with clients who have a clear vision and trust us to help bring it to life.

We were asked to help our longtime friends and colleagues at Jamestown Kitchen and Bath renovate their showroom space.
As the project evolved, we recommended installing a metal ceiling to help hide the imperfections in the existing structure while creating a clean industrial look. They agreed, and the finished product turned out amazing. The new design perfectly showcases their recently expanded lighting selection along with their beautiful bathroom and kitchen displays.

This project was a collaboration with a local builder and friend. He reached out for assistance getting this home started and ready for the homeowners. With a few delays, we got a late start and our crew had to battle through a tough winter to keep the project moving forward.
The results speak for themselves. This beautiful Bemus Point Chautauqua Lake home fits perfectly into the lakeside setting and turned out to be an amazing place for the homeowners to enjoy for years to come.

This custom Chautauqua Lake home was designed by the homeowner, an Architect from the DC area. He and his partner created a truly unique design centered around a beautiful atrium right in the middle of the home.
To make space for this new lake house, we first had to remove an old cottage and carefully work within the tight setback requirements of the lot. The result is a home that maximizes every inch of available space while maintaining incredible style and function.
Entering from the side entrance, you are immediately greeted with views through sliding doors into the large central atrium. To the right, the hallway leads to the primary bedroom and bath. At the end of the hall opens a beautiful open-concept kitchen and living area with views overlooking Chautauqua Lake. Just off the kitchen is a glass-filled room designed to blur the line between indoors and outdoors, allowing the owners to open the windows and enjoy the fresh air while remaining connected to the living space.
At the opposite end of the home are two guest bedrooms, the main bathroom, and laundry area.
These homeowners packed an incredible amount of living space and detail into a challenging footprint. Their vision and style made this one of our favorite homes we’ve built.
It was an amazing experience, and even better, we gained new friends throughout the process. Michael and Phil will be enjoying this home for years to come.

We had to remove an old home to create space for this beautifully designed Bemus Point summer home.
This custom home features 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, and even two separate laundry areas for convenience. The large open-concept living space was designed to maximize comfort and entertaining, while the spacious bonus room in the basement adds even more functional living space.
With two porches overlooking the lake, this home offers the perfect place to relax and enjoy everything Bemus Point has to offer during the summer season.
Our entire team worked together to create an amazing home for the owners, and this one will be wrapping up just in time for the season.

This “Cabin on the Creek” is a super unique home that pushed creativity and craftsmanship to the next level.
Built on a submerged foundation with 10’ concrete pillars and a structural steel framework, this home was designed to stand strong while blending into its natural surroundings. The wrap-around deck gives the owners a full 360° opportunity to enjoy the outdoor space and the beauty surrounding the property.
Inside, the open-concept living area offers a functional custom kitchen with island seating and a comfortable gathering space. The steel structure concept carries into the interior with custom metal stringers and handcrafted wood steps. Handcrafted railings, metal spindles, and sweeping ceiling beams tie the entire design together.
The loft area creates another relaxing living space complete with a convenient half bath. On the main level, two bedrooms are flanked by a full bathroom for functionality and comfort.
This home is also equipped with a whole-house generator to keep the home conditioned and maintain water service during power outages.
Once the rain finally gives us a break, we’ll be wrapping up the exterior spaces as well. This was a challenging project from start to finish, but one our more than capable crew was proud to tackle.
