Systems above operate independently from the utility grid. They use the grid (if available) to supply power when solar or battery is insufficient to run supported loads then decouple from the utility when enough battery or solar is available. If done right many of your appliances connected to solar will run >99% of the time off utility power seasonally!
We have and will post Grid Tie systems that interact with your utility provider under contract to sell excessive energy not used in the residence. Those systems DIY are around $5999.00 and up.

We are in early conversation with a qualified solar contractor to provide time/material/compliance/etc for rooftop and permitted solar installs. Having access to this level of expertise will allow customers unable to fully install their DIY solar access to a more affordable solar installation.
