Historically, discriminatory practices such as segregation and redlining have hindered Black communities' access to quality, affordable housing. While the Fair Housing Act of 1968 marked progress in outlawing such practices, disparities continue, underscoring an ongoing need for housing equity.

This Black History Month, join us in honoring the resilience of Black communities as we work towards a future where housing justice is universally recognized.

Construction is progressing at Columbus Colony!

We've prioritized completing the lobby and common areas, creating a welcoming space for our valued residents to connect with friends and family. This unique community, designed to serve the hearing and visually impaired, is a one-of-a-kind initiative in Ohio and one of the few nationwide.

In addition to the common area upgrades, improvements in the units are ongoing and include new cabinets, countertops, appliances, flooring, as well as fully renovated bathrooms. These upgrades improve accessibility throughout the building while enhancing the quality of life for our residents.

🚧 Project progress update!

Phase I of The Reserve at Mt. Gilead is well on its way and on track for a Spring 2024 completion! Soon, The Reserve will open its doors to seniors aged 55 and better, offering 47 brand new 1 and 2-bedroom apartments in the heart of Mt. Gilead, Ohio.

We're proud to deliver a needed solution in response to the Ohio housing crisis, providing quality, affordable housing within budget and a short construction schedule.

This project stands as a testament to our mission, building more than a building, we build community. 💚
