This week, Hydroplane CEO Dr. Anita Sengupta spoke and moderated a panel on AI in Aerospace during Los Angeles Times Studio LA Tech Week.

At Hydroplane we are developing hydrogen fuel cell power systems for aviation, maritime, and mobile power applications. As AI evolves from large language models (LLMs) to autonomous agents, the opportunities to integrate these tools into engineering, system design, digital twins, and predictive maintenance continue to expand.

The future of aerospace will be shaped by how we combine advances in AI, energy, and propulsion to solve real-world challenges.

Our CEO Dr. Anita Sengupta will be speaking at and moderating the discussion on AI in Advanced manufacturing, aerospace and defense at Los Angeles Times Studios TECH DAY part of next week.

The event brings together leaders across technology, business, and government. She will guide a discussion on how AI shaping the future of business across various industries with leaders from Cambium, Hydroplane, GRAY MATTER, First Resonance, and Senra Systems, on October 12 at the Los Angeles Times in El Segundo.

We are excited to announce that Hydroplane is a winner of the U.S. Army Competition.

Last week at United States Marine Corps Base , we demonstrated our wearable hydrogen fuel cell power unit for humanoid robots in a live outdoor mission environment. Our system is designed to provide quiet, emission-free mobile power for robotic platforms where acoustic and thermal signatures, endurance, and mobility matter. Hydroplane was selected as a winner in the Advanced Humanoid Subsystems category following the live demonstrations by the competition finalists - receiving a cash prize and the opportunity to pursue follow-on Army funding.
