My most recent restoration/renovation.

Fifty years ago, the house had been divided into an office and apartment and later to all office. It took a lot of digging to find the house beneath all of those changes.

The curve of the original stair, which had to be almost completely rebuilt, inspired adding a couple of other curved walls and an arch leading into the dining room.

Project in process.
A tiny 1952 is becoming a bit more spacious and a lot more functional by borrowing a bit of space from the existing laundry.

1924 house update.
The original small kitchen is expanded and opened up to the dining room with a new bay window where only high windows were.
Original second floor bathroom is now the laundry.
A second floor bedroom is now the bathroom and dressing room.

One of my favorite (and larger) renovation projects is on the market. Always makes me a bit sad as we spent so much time (5 yrs) and energy making it a personalized home for my clients. But a new owner is sure to enjoy it.
