The Cost of Waiting Is Increasing

Florida's development landscape is changing rapidly.

New stormwater regulations, evolving nutrient reduction requirements, updated Basin Management Action Plans (BMAPs), and increasing scrutiny around water quality are changing how projects are planned, designed, and permitted.

Yesterday, members of the FDC team, including Rob Rosner, David Fleeman, Wilson Garcia, and Ed Rogers, attended the Art in the Air Reception hosted by the Westshore Alliance at the Renaissance Tampa International Plaza Hotel.

As a proud sponsor of the program, we were honored to celebrate the talented local artists whose work will soon be displayed along W. Boy Scout Boulevard, transforming one of Tampa's most traveled corridors into a vibrant outdoor gallery for the next four months.

At Florida Design Consultants, we believe great communities are shaped by more than roads, infrastructure, and buildings. Public art helps create a sense of place, reflects the character of a community, and makes the spaces where we live and work more engaging and memorable.

Small Acts of Community Care Can Create a Lasting Impact

Community is not built by roads, signs, or buildings alone. It is built by people and organizations willing to care for the places around them.

At Florida Design Consultants, we recently had the opportunity to support our community through Pasco County’s Adopt-A-Road program along Ballantrae Boulevard. While the roadway signs recognizing our participation are meaningful, the experience itself represents something bigger.

Small actions like community cleanups, volunteering, and environmental stewardship may seem simple, but they contribute to stronger neighborhoods, cleaner public spaces, and a greater sense of shared responsibility.
