Our large HM1000 horizontal was used to put some compound angled horn pin holes in.
Utilizing horizontal machining centers, tombstones and FCS made this challenging set up a lot easier!

Processing mold inserts can get tricky, for this one it’s an aluminum insert with cooling baffles. Some size and depth on this one is the challenge
Check out the roughed insert with backside complete, we will then flip and finish 3D machining and fit to the tool!
