Since that time the company has worked tirelessly to support a wide range of industries that require innovative and flexible solutions to a variety of work holding and clamping challenges. The rigorous demands of such a wide variety of customers has driven Lapeer Manufacturing Company to continuously refine and improve our Knu-Vise brand of toggle clamps. With so many challenges brought to the marketplace by the global economy the last thing a customer wants to have to worry about is the performance and reliability of a fundamental component like a toggle clamp. To achieve that kind of worry-free performance the Knu-Vise line of toggle clamps is manufactured with only the highest quality and time proven materials processed and assembled to exacting specifications. All critical components are heat-treated and each clamp is carefully inspected and tested throughout the manufacturing process to ensure reliability, performance and long life.

This morning, Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer issued an executive order for all non-essential businesses in Michigan to close effective midnight March 23rd through April 10th. This action was taken to assist in limiting the spread of the Novel Coronavirus.
Lapeer Manufacturing Company, however, meets the definition of an "essential business" and will maintain normal operations throughout this shutdown. To repeat, Lapeer Manufacturing Company WILL REMAIN OPEN AND OPERATIONAL during this shutdown.
Supplemental sanitary and social distancing protocols will remain in place for the safety and health of all personnel, but we will be accepting and filling orders.

It has been a long time coming, but everyone at Lapeer Manufacturing is pleased to announce the approval of our patent application and issuance of US Patent Number 10,179,394 B2 on January 15, 2019 for our positive locking mechanism designed by Nick, Dan and Brian. Stay tuned as we redesign many of our existing toggle clamps to incorporate our patented locking mechanism. This design by far exceeds the capability of other locking clamps in the marketplace.
