When we opened The Robot space in 2013, we had high hopes and big dreams. We are serious Robot Builders and wanted to give Teams the ability to get the parts they needed as quickly as possible. Seven years later, we were on track to serve more customers in a greater geographical area than ever before. But things changed, so we adapted.

This summer, as Michigan businesses prepare to reopen, our storefront will, unfortunately, remain closed until the fall. Without a resumed FRC season and schools out of session, it isn't financially feasible for us to maintain stock levels and keep store hours.

But we understand that our customers still have the need for robot parts, so we have made it possible for you to continue to support TRS, by offering a direct drop-ship option at www.therobotspace.com.

By ordering through our website, your items will come to you from Texas, AND you'll still get the same support and confidence that you've always gotten from The Robot Space. Clinton is still available to answer questions, provide guidance, and chat about robots, just call 877-429-7539. Ordering through TRS will help us continue moving forward, and support the costs we incur to ensure that we will be back to serve you.

We will see you in the fall. Things might look different, but adaptation is the name of the game these days. We will keep going, we will keep growing… and we hope you do, too.

Today is your last chance to order from our in-stock inventory until the fall. This is one of the hardest decisions that we've ever had to make but it is the only way that The Robot Space is able to survive another season. Beginning tonight at 5:00pm, we will be eliminating our in-store inventory and no longer direct shipping orders.

If you want to help, there are still ways! We will be offering drop-ship service, so if you love TRS and want to see our storefront return, please consider using this as an option for all of your orders between now and the time that we can come back together.

While we are closed, calls will still be forwarded to Clinton and Brandi's cell phones, and we will still be answering e-mails. There is a lot of uncertainty in the world right now, but one thing's for sure: robots are what brought us together, and they will continue to be the force that binds us. May the 4th be with you, now and always.

Thank you to everyone that has been sharing our post and placing orders. Your kindness, personal messages, and words of encouragement are appreciated more than you will ever know.

The Robotics community is an amazing place, and it's made better by all of you. A million times over, thank you.

You still have until May 4th to place your order online; and on that day, we will be closing our website until sometime in the fall. Our storefront is currently closed, and will remain closed until further notice. We can't wait to see you all again, and to compete alongside you this fall.

Feel free to give the store a ring, all calls are being forwarded to our cell phones at home. Clinton still loves to chat about Robots! Stay safe, stay healthy, and stay happy.

Today was a rough day for us here at The Robot Space. COVID-19 has had a major impact on us, so we had to make some tough decisions.

Our 2020 FRC season stocking order is in! If you order online by 3pm, your order will usually arrive next-day via UPS for most areas in Michigan, and two-day shopping for the midwest.

Helpful Tip of the Day:

When placing an online order for in-store pick up, add some info to the "notes" section to let us know what day and time you'd like to pick up.

This helps us, especially on our busiest days, to try to have your order ready before you arrive.
