BH Contracting Services is looking for several good employees to fill the role of general construction laborers to advance the mission of the company to complete building/construction projects in a safe, timely and effective manner to ensure a project proceeds on schedule and on budget.

Construction Laborer duties and responsibilities
• Follow instructions from project managers, supervisors and the general manager
• Help form, pour and finish concrete
• Loading and unloading building materials
• Cleaning the construction site by removing hazards materials and debris from the worksite
• Assisting craft workers such as carpenters with their duties as needed
• Operate tools such as drills, jackhammers, compactors, etc.

Construction Laborer skills and qualifications
• Basic math skills to preform calculations while on a job site
• Employees in this position work closely with other team members; interpersonal skills and being a team player is an essential skill for these positions
• Physical strength when performing job duties such as lifting and moving material around a job site
• Physical stamina in order to handle working long hours performing manual labor during the workday in hot or cold weather
Salary/Benefits/Additional Information
• The pay rate depends on level of experience
• BH Contracting Services has six paid holidays per year
• One week of paid time off after two years of employment
• Preference will be given to candidates who have construction experience
• Some travel, weekends and overtime are required
• A valid driver’s license is required
