We spent the morning at a Bosch training at Johnstone Supply in Beltsville, MD with diving into everything from inverter heat pump performance to proper commissioning, grounding, and the future of HVAC. �
At the end of the day, better training = better installs = better comfort for homeowners. We can’t wait to learn more about the Bosch IDS Edge soon!

Part 2: the results are in.

After 3 days, the petri dish exposed to purifying air from the Purify layer of PuriGuard Fresh showed noticeably less bacteria growth than the dish exposed to normal air.

That matters because this purification approach is designed to work proactively — meaning out in the air and on surfaces throughout the space.

And this is just one simple demonstration.

There are also independent tests on the purification technology behind this layer showing effectiveness against a range of microorganisms and airborne substances.

Let’s see if PuriGuard Fresh lives up to the claim of proactive purification in the air and on surfaces.

We set up a simple experiment using bacteria from raw chicken.

Two petri dishes.�Same starting point.

We swirled the same raw chicken sample onto both dishes, then exposed one to normal air and the other to air treated by the Purify layer of PuriGuard Fresh for 20 minutes.

Then we sealed them and waited 3 days.

If this purification approach really works proactively — meaning it searches out pollutants out in the space to inactivate them — the results should show it.
