Hot Metal Designs Fabricating metal art and designs in stainless steel, aluminum, steel, and copper. My name is Mark Wabol and I am a trained welder living in Largo, FL.

My passion for metal work has been in my blood; my father was a machinist for over twenty years. My interest in metal began with cars...how they work and how they are made. So I started at the ground level to better understand metal and welding techniques. After graduation from PTEC's welding program, I took my skills beyond daily welding jobs and into my own workshop. My obsession for metal worki

ng combined with my interest in the ocean and surfing has resulted in many late nights experimenting with metal sea life. Owned this laser cutter for about 3 years now and this is my first time cutting steel with it, haha. Usually only cut stainless or aluminum but man does it cut steel cleannnn! Will cut a perfectly round 1/2” hole in 1/4” plate in 5 seconds flat.
Here it is cutting out some mounting plates. Also got the feature working which saves mucho material!
