We are excited to have won a 4-part contract in a mentor-protégé relationship with Whiting-Turner, building the transformational new Under Armour campus in Baltimore City.
As we have grown, it has always been our goal to use our vertically-integrated group of minority-owned companies on a major project. Our consulting team is working in the community to ensure minority, women-owned, and disadvantaged businesses get opportunity on the project. With WT as the lead, our construction team has a construction management partnership allowing us to have a full-time project engineer, Yakira Brown, on site that we hired from the Morgan State University construction management program. Our subcontracting team has already built the decks for the trailers and has an ongoing contract on the current and future phases. Lastly, our supply company is delivering construction materials to the site.
We can't thank Under Armour and WT enough for this transformational relationship with Mayson-Dixon Companies.
Under Armour unveiled designs Thursday for a new global headquarters in South Baltimore’s Port Covington, featuring a soaring, stadium-like glass structure with a solar panel canopy, ground-floor flagship store and a performance center for employees and visiting athletes.
