Does your home’s exterior plaster exhibit flaking, chips and cracks? Decades of weather exposure, poor quality original system application, and prior incompatible patch/repair jobs can render a home’s exterior plaster system with extensive cracking, peeling paint, and soft, crumbling sections. The underlying issue is most often water intrusion, which compromises the home’s plaster system. Quinones addresses this type of damage (depending on severity) with either a multi-stage plaster restoration process or with a complete re-plastering to ensure a long-lasting solution.

Every 2025 "Color of the Year", as provided by various paint companies and manufacturers. As you can see: Shades of brown, caramel, and purple had a big year! Also… the fact that we got two “caramels” is pretty wild! Quinones Custom Homes & Remodeling top three picks from these colors are: Mapped Blue for a kids' room accent wall, Satin Warm Caramel for custom exterior metalwork, and Encore for a contemporary southwest front door. Which are your favorites?

Secure Fencing, Unobstructed Views, Stylish Design – This fencing project addressed a number of unique homeowner needs from security to aesthetics.

Dogs & Snakes: With multiple K-9 family members, it was imperative that fencing needed to keep the dogs in and keep the snakes out (primarily rattle snakes). The materials selected, along with the unique design, creates a combination of vertical surface elements that make it difficult for dogs and snakes to scale. We poured a continuous concrete footing beneath all fencing sections and gates. Aside from adding to the fence’s structural integrity with the posts embed in the footing, this helps prevent (even the most determined diggers) from burrowing beneath.

Unobstructed Views: This project specified fencing heights ranging from 60-inches to 72-inches for needs ranging from security, to the dogs, to a pool enclosure. This Las Alturas property features numerous vistas of the Organ Mountains, Desert Peaks Monument, and the West Mesa. We selected an upper panel material (welded wire steel mesh) that allowed these views to be preserved while maintaining; not compromising on strength.

Style: The homeowner’s preference for fencing style was one that complemented the home’s classic New Mexico revival architecture and corrugated roofing sections. The final fencing design is clean and simple while being aesthetically pleasing.
