The Waterfall Atrium & Gardens has been transformed into a winter wonderland with hand-designed snowflakes suspended midair above three holiday filigree trees and a family of hand-made golden manzanita reindeer. The inspiration for the filigree trees came from a cake that was created by the pastry team at The Venetian and The Palazzo and the total weight of the trees is approximately 2,700 pounds. The reindeer were constructed from steel and then real manzanita branches were applied by hand and painted. There are more than 1,000 ornaments sprinkled throughout the display, as well as two 16-ft tall golden manzanita trees adorned with 80 crystal ribbons. There are more than 2,500 plants and flowers in this holiday display, including red poinsettias, silver bush, lambs ear, ferns, and glitter birch trees. The holiday gardens will remain a must-see holiday attraction through the first week of January 2016.
