Low coolant or dirty air filter? Always check your filter first before calling a heating and cooling company. It will save you money. If you see ice on your system, make sure that the filter is clean. If the filter was dirty, change the filter. Turn the system off for an hour and turn it back on, if the issue persists chances are you have a refrigerant leak. Or something blocking the air from flowing. An example would be years of hair and dust on the evaporator coil restricting airflow.
