Progress update on the MB7001-ES 4 Link Kit one of the JKU Builds. Crossmember MB3028 tie-in Vertical Downhill Weld with 1/4” fillets on 1/4” thick MB7001 Crossmember tied into Factory Frame 1/8” thick box tube: Miller 255 set at 18.2 Volts with 232 IPM using 0.035” ER70S-6 filler with 75/25 mix gas.
I had a 1/4” gap on my frame, so I made a 1/4” shim plate on the passenger side to keep the skid plate bolt bolts lined up for final assembly.
I’m posting this while I wait for frame/crossmember to cooldown for another HOT Pass.
