All field personnel gathered at the MHBS office this afternoon for an all-hands safety meeting. The MHBS General Superintendent and Safety Manager as well as owner Jerrad Martin addressed the gathering. Absolutely nothing is more important than each and every MHBS associate returning home safely, healthy, happy and whole at the end of each day. Safety first!

MHBS had its Holiday Lunch today for our William O'Brien Middle School crew in Reno, Nevada. We currently have a crew of 28 tradesmen, a mixture of carpenters, tapers and laborers, at O'Brien Middle School. Famous Dave's Barbecue was catered in and Holiday Gift Cards valued at $100.00 each were handed out to show our appreciation for the hard work and dedication of our Reno crew. MHBS is well aware that it's our people, all the people, who make us successful. A big THANK YOU to our Reno area associates!!

We have some pics from the Harley Harmon Elementary School Replacement in Las Vegas, Nevada. MHBS is just getting started. The first photo is an overall view of the project site. The next couple of photos take in some skylight framing in progress. Then we have wall layout. We even have a little wall framing already up (last photo). MHBS would like to give shout-outs to Boyd Martin Construction, the General Contractor, for selecting us in the bid process; the Clark County School District, the owner; and TSK Architects. We are very proud to continue-on our long history of building public education in Nevada.

We had our employee Christmas party today in conjunction with JBM Underground, a company also owned by MHBS president Jerrad Martin. Fun, food and music were provided in appreciation to the most critical component of any successful business, the people. Safety awards were handed out as well as anniversary certificates and lapel pins which are given for three, five, ten, fifteen, twenty and twenty-five years of tenure. Following are some photos. The first couple of pics are overall views of the event. Next we have a pic of one of the three year anniversary presentations given out by Jerrad Martin. There were several anniversary presentations made for varying degrees of tenure. The last two photos take in the twenty-five year anniversary presentations to three qualifying individuals, the MHBS Senior Project Manager, General Superintendent and one of our General Foremen. MHBS prides itself in the loyalty and stability of its skilled associates in an industry which is known for tradesmen receiving multiple W-2's for a single year. A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL MHBS ASSOCIATES!!!

We have several photos of the MHBS' work in progress at the new Ira Earl Elementary School Replacement in Las Vegas, Nevada. MHBS is contracted to perform the Cold-formed Metal Framing, Non-structural Metal Framing, Drywall, the Exterior Insulation & Finish System, Acoustical Ceilings and Fiberglass Reinforced Panels. The first photo is a shot capturing most of the buildings on the site. The following pic is high parapet framing in process, and the third pic takes in another small portion of the exterior metal wall framing. Next, we move inside for the interior corridor wall framing and a couple of photos of drywall top-down closely coordinated with our fellow trade partners. Then we have our project General Foreman carefully studying the mechanical drawings to formulate a strategy to coordinate wall and ceiling framing in a particularly congested area, and this is followed by a photo of the stored ductwork scheduled for installation in the same location. We close with bundles of framing materials stored on site demonstrating we have a chunk of framing remaining to install. MHBS would like to extend thanks to Martin Harris Construction, the project General Contractor; the Clark County School District, the owner; and, our fellow specialty contractors on the project. MHBS has a long history in building K-12 Education in Clark County, Nevada, consisting of well over 100 public school projects; and, we are proud to be a part of the Ira Earl Elementary School Replacement team.

We have more photos from our William O'Brien Middle School project in Reno, Nevada. A substantial portion of our exterior metal wall framing and exterior gypsum sheathing are installed now as well as interior wall framing. MHBS gives a shout-out to CORE Construction, the project Construction Manager, and the Washoe County School District, the owner. We are proud to be building public education facilities in Northern Nevada.

We have finish photos from the new Hannah Marie Brown Elementary School in Henderson, Nevada. MHBS performed the Cold-formed Metal Framing, Non-structural Metal Framing, Drywall, Acoustical Ceilings, Acoustical Panels, Fiber Reinforced Wall Lining, Interior Concrete Sealing and Painting. We appreciate being a trades member of this project team with Roche Constructors, General Contractor; TSK, the Architect; the Clark County School District; and, our fellow trade partners.
The first photo captures the main entry from the outside perspective, and the second photo is a good shot of the exterior from the rear of the building. Numbers three and four are of the Main Lobby. Photo five is the Library. Next we have the Kindergarten Learning Area, a Classroom and the Cafeteria. We wrap up with a view of a stairway and corridor.
MHBS has participated in over one hundred K-12 public school projects in Clark County, Nevada. We are proud of that history and we will continue to provide our services to Southern Nevada's expanding education system.

MHBS is beginning to ramp up the work at the new O'Brien Middle School in Reno, Nevada. We are fortunate to have been selected as a trades member of this project team. MHBS is performing the Cold-formed Metal Framing, Non-structural Metal Framing, Drywall, Acoustical Systems and Interior Wall Lining Laminate. We are proud to be working with CORE Construction, CMAR, the Washoe County School District and our fellow trade partners. The first photo takes in the main building structure. The second photo captures two of our framers installing clips at the building perimeter to receive the exterior metal wall framing. Photo 3 depicts exterior wall framing installed at Level 1. Moving to the interior, we have substantial framing installed and some drywall top-down as well. The last photo catches two of our crew members in the process of installing drywall top-down. We are closely coordinating with the other trades while installing wall framing and top-down so as not to hinder each other's installations. That's what it's all about: coordination and give-and-take for the overall good of the project. MHBS will continue to closely coordinate with project team members while pushing our scopes of work to a successful and timely completion.

MHBS loves the massive distribution/warehousing projects being built in the Las Vegas Valley. The following photos are from our Bark Box Project in North Las Vegas. MHBS is installing the Metal Framing, Drywall, Plywood, Acoustical Ceilings and Fiber Reinforced Panels. The General Contractor is Martin Harris Construction. The first three photos capture some of our work in the warehouse areas where substantial framing and drywall are already installed. The fourth picture is of one of our skilled framers working in the office area, and the last picture captures our Project Foreman checking off a list of delivered items. MHBS is proud to participate in building facilities such as this one that support the needs of our growing community.
