The infrastructure improvement projects included upgrading transmission and distribution lines, replacing older wooden poles with metal poles, undergrounding certain overhead facilities and upgrading grid technologies to be more secure against physical attacks, according to NV Energy.

Previously, the utility said it requested a rate change that would allow it to recover nearly $93 million in additional costs occurring annually. They forgot to mention the increase in shareholder profits!

Also, the utility said it is increasing a service charge on customers’ bills from $12.50 a month to $18.50

I remember about 15 years ago, I was at Lackland AFB and it was like our 3rd day of Boot camp as we heard the fireworks and faintly saw them through the barracks small tinted windows, our "Nice" DI asked us, "who wants to go see fireworks? " 🎆

We all replied, "Yes sir"

Being the" nice" guy he is, "he asked us to open the 5ish small windows and gave us about 3 seconds to look out the window before he yelled, "Get back to work"
