We now offer free gearbox teardown inspection double checking for CAR OWNERS!! Spun bores are when your bearing race that’s pressed in, spins free once the gearbox is warmed up. There are 6 of them. We have found first hand that a number of gearboxes builders lack the integrity, intelligence or time to check and repair them properly. Seriously don’t believe it unless you see it. Or some say you can loctite them, you can’t.. The proper way to check is to put the main case, center section, and side cover in an oven and thoroughly warm it to running temp and put on a welding glove and see if you can spin them. If it does you steel sleeve the bores, so they press in again. If your builder disagrees, send it to us because we now rebuild 901-993s in total transparency and repair it properly.

Do you think you lose horsepower with gearbox center section bearing bores that let go at 115 and 135 degrees?
After over a decade of dealing with many gearbox builders around the u.s. and world. I’ve come to this general conclusion about them and spun bearing bores.
Either they don’t know to check them, or they don’t care, or they’re in a hurry for a quick buck and won’t tell you. Maybe they will loctite it in without mentioning it. And that doesn’t hold especially in aluminum bores.
So if you want to know who you can trust?
Me. Or you.
That’s it. But I’m the only other person you are guaranteed will warm your gearbox up to running temps, check it, SHOW YOU! And repair it properly with steel sleeves.
So if you have a gearbox for rebuild, make sure they send us the main case and center section to check it properly. Don’t trust them unless you watch them. Period.
And I have a gearbox builder with over a decade of experience and next to zero returns who started here and I’m paying him the entire rebuild fee. DanMfg, Las Vegas

Pro Bono, "for the public good". We like doing machining for the local robotics teams in exchange for our names on their robots, as large as they think, wherever they think. Atleast i hope they do, ive never checked 😁 But if its 1265 holes, theyre deburring it.

This mag 915 gearbox is mating to a 400hp motor after its done being built, so they wanted the works.

-All 5 bores steel sleeved. Now when this box warms up the bores wont let go of the bearing races.

-Guide tube update. Now they can replace the tube and or seal from the outside, like a late 915.

-Billet 7075 aluminum racing side cover. This is atleast twice as strong as any other 915 sidecover. It reduces case and diff flex.

-Oil cooling system thats better than an RSR set up.
AN8 in to our aluminum gush bar. It doesnt spray, it gushes oil on your gears, even at an idle. Check out our test video and see.
And a magnesium fork guide plate modified with a temp sensor and AN8 oil out.

- Billet 7075 aluminum bearing clamp plate is the strongest and lightest, and the only one with a lifetime exchange warranty.
