It's not often I post things here, but there is some news to share about AMS. Dave Schellhardt has retired as President of AMS and General Manager of the Maryland location. He's been very successful, and a terrific guy to work with and we wish him all the best.

As of April 1, 2023, Andy McCrossan has moved from CFO, to President and CFO of AMS.

Charlie McDaniel, who has been extremely successful in multiple roles for the Maryland location, has become the new General Manager.

The AMS GoFundMe drive for the Houston employees who were severely affected has concluded. $16,476 was contributed. Thank you so much, to all those who participated!

AMS management was better than their word to match the first $10,000, and instead matched the full amount withdrawn from GoFundMe, so every dollar you gave counted twice!

The AMS Houston office then contributed an additional $20,000 bringing the total to approximately $50k so on October 18, 2017, each of the four severely affected employees took home a check for approximately $12,500 to aid in their recovery.

Several of our Houston employees were seriously affected by hurricane Harvey. Some lost everything.

The AMS Houston office has established a GoFundMe page for donations to assist those employees affected. AMS management will match the first $10,000 of donations to the fund to assist those employees.

We are pleased to announce that Bill Long has joined AMS as our new Corporate Safety Director. Having his Masters of Science in Environmental and Safety Management from West Virginia University, Bill has worked at various companies in the U.S. and Canada as a Safety, Health and Environmental Coordinator, Manager and Specialist. He is OSHA 501 Certified and has extensive, direct experience in OSHA/EPA worksite inspections and insurance-related audits. He also has extensive, direct experience in fleet management, workers’ compensation claims, and incident/claims modification rating factor management, as well as overall risk and expense management and reduction.
