The WIRE Opportunity Scholarship is offering a $2,500 one-time award to a South Carolina electric cooperative member who is ready to pursue a college education later in life.
💡 Who can apply?
• Women who graduated high school or earned a GED 10+ years ago
• Members/customers of a SC electric cooperative
• Accepted into an accredited college or university
• Demonstrate financial need
🎓 Whether you’re just starting out, returning to school, or have some college experience—this opportunity is for you! (Note: those with a bachelor’s degree are not eligible.)
📅 Deadline to apply: June 1, 2026
💵 Funds will go directly to your college for the Fall 2026 or Spring 2027 semester
