Throw-back project: Above & Beyond Wash and Seal rescued a 25,000-square-foot, in-floor-heated concrete floor for the Iowa Department of Transportation from being torn out and completely replaced. Instead, owner Trent Maschmann said, "We were able to go in, diamond grind, skim coat, polish, and apply a water and salt guard to protect it from future damaging. The floor is now instantly repelling water and salt. We were able to save the floor and get them back in business without them having to completely replace it!"

As part of their rescue, they used Blended Densifier and Saltguard.

Saltguard season has officially arrived. The best time to apply , Saltguard WB, or Saltguard VOC, is late summer through early fall. Why is that? These salt and water barriers need to be applied during warm and dry conditions with ample time to cure.
