Working through a few more updates from some of the jobs that have stood out this year. This one was unique and have to work through several challenges to backfill this retaining wall correctly. Very limited access, steep slope, as all work had to be done from above the wall staying off the concrete. We began with an initial backfill in order for us to dig a proper ditch on grade for the drain, lined the ditch with fabric, placed or pipe, added clean stone, wrapped the fabric back over to prevent silt intrusion though the years, then backfilled and final graded the slope with proper drainage.

This job was a fun one. We took a cutover/dirt pit and turned it into a house lot. We began with clearing the lot, moved approximately 12,000 yards of dirt to build a driveway, house pad, and shop pad, made sure everything had proper drainage, placed rip rap in the areas that are large volumes of water, put #5 limestone on the driveway for construction, then lastly seeded and blew straw to stabilize the slopes. Very proud of my team and how this one turned out.

We had the pleasure of transforming this cutover into a beautiful home place. We had to clear several additional acres across a small branch in order to get all the fill required to build the pads and roads, burned all debris, moved 2,500yrds on material on site building the house and shop pads, then lastly topped the driveway with #4 limestone for construction.

We have been horribly behind on keeping this page updated as we have been busy in the field. These are a couple commercial sites in which we provided the finish grading and aggregate as well. Keep us in mind for all of your aggregate needs.

I never like showing these because of what the customer has to go through. This home burned and in the matter of a couple days we completely cleaned the home up and built a pad for the new home to be built while working to salvage the utilities in the ground.
