Before and after photos of today’s installation .
Removed the platform and hung the new indoor unit, added the unit disconnect in place of the stove plug.
Removed the fencing from the outdoor (condenser corral) cut the concrete pad off and relocated the unit further down to make room for future change outs and allow optimal room for future service work.

I love a good brain teaser.
(Question) How can we make this system operate again when the factory designed component isn’t readily available?

(Answer) Add a component, use the system’s existing voltage and loop it back.

Problem…. 3 phase 460/208 contactor with 24v coil (bad)
Only part available is a 460/208 contactor with a 208/240v coil.

Solution… add a 208/240 2-pole contactor with a 24v coil. Then use it to pass power to the 3-phase contactor and energize the coil under a call with 24v from the thermostat
