BCG provided engineering and design services for the relocation of two 70-foot diameter tanks and a pumphouse building to Cape Lisburne, Alaska. AR Watson executed all field operations, ensuring the successful loading of the tanks and building onto a barge for transport.

This is the result of a strain study which examined the strain and rotation of the joint between the vessel shell and the bottom of the vessel at the flush clean-out when subjected to extreme internal pressure. The research was conducted as part of an American Petroleum Institute task group study for API 12F shop welded tanks. The deflections are exaggerated for illustration purposes.
