SpeedFLOW® 45 NutriCharge® is hitting the fields for large-scale demo trials in Central Georgia.

Our team has been working with growers and crop consultants on hopper box trials in peanuts and cotton, focused on how the product performs during planting—flowability, dust, seed placement, and overall performance. We are confirming some very exciting preliminary results.

Grateful for an engaging show today in Tifton, GA, where the focus was on peanut crop production.

Peanut farmers overwhelmingly expressed concern over nematodes and TSWV causing crop damange, and peanut prices.

At a special (and hot!) field day in Tifton, Georgia this week, visitors joined UGA’s Dr. Tim Brenneman to view peanut trial results. Kannar’s Peanut Prep line and our Kan EGV (Early Growth and Vigor) stood out for their uniform, vigorous growth, reduced seedling loss, and fast ground cover. It was rewarding to see our hard work in the lab and greenhouse validated in the field by the UGA team. We were also honored to recognize Dr. Brenneman’s retirement with a plaque celebrating his many years of service to the peanut industry.

We are so excited to work with the Cornell University team on Multiple Seed Pellets (MSP) to make large-scale pollinator habitat restoration a reality. Solutions that scale mean a better world for pollinators and people.

Cornell researchers are currently working with industry partners to scale up a multiseed pellet technology that are the same shape and density as corn seeds, so they work in planters. The research team has been collaborating with industry partners Kannar Earth Science, Ltd. (to tweak formulations and scale up the pellets to produce thousands for resale) and Corteva Agriscience (for distributing the seeds): https://shorturl.at/3XMNs

The Georgia Cotton Commission, Georgia Peanut Commission and the University of Georgia Extension Cotton and Peanut Teams, will co-sponsor a joint research field day on Wed., Sept. 4, 2024, in Tifton, Georgia.
