We’re excited to introduce Michael Botter, who’s been part of the Universal Services family for almost 3 years! Micheal joined us as a pipe fitter and also operates equipment from time to time.
When Michael isn’t working, you’ll find him out on the water fishing for bass and white perch—a true outdoorsman at heart. 🎣
What Motivates Him:
It’s simple - fulfilling his responsibilities and maintaining financial stability keep Michael personally and professionally driven.

This week, we'd like to give a big shoutout to Devon Woods!

Devon has been with Universal Services for a little over 12 years, where he serves as the lead HVAC technician. In his role, Devon is responsible for troubleshooting and making necessary repairs to HVAC-R equipment, as well as estimating, selling, and installing new HVAC systems. He holds a 2-year technical certificate in HVAC-R from Jones College, and prior to joining Universal Services, he worked as a heavy equipment mechanic.

Devon has been married for 13 years and is a proud father of four boys, ages 10, 8, 5, and 1. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and pursuing his passion for deer and turkey hunting. When it comes to motivation, Devon credits his wife as his biggest inspiration. He admires her ability to juggle a full-time career as a registered nurse, pursue her Nurse Practitioner degree, and still be a dedicated wife and mother. Her incredible work ethic and commitment push him to stay motivated and give his best in all aspects of his life.

Office Humor:
When we asked Devon about his favorite TV show, he joked, "I have 4 kids—what’s TV? Just kidding. When I get the chance, I like to binge-watch The First 48 or Forensic Files." Any parent can relate to that!

Please meet Brian Chadwick. Brian just celebrated his third anniversary with Universal Services in August. As Operations Manager in our Jackson office, Brian oversees proposals for service jobs, manages purchases, handles logistics, and ensures time accountability among employees.

Brian graduated Summa Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and supervision. Before joining Universal Services, he spent 16 years as a Project Manager with a painting contractor and is also a proud US Army veteran.

For the past 17 years, Brian has cherished life with his partner, Tina. Outside of work, he enjoys riding motorcycles, listening to live music, and cooking on his smoker. He dedicates much of his spare time to his motorcycle club, and raising money for sick children.

Brian is known for his loyalty and hard work and takes pride in his journey from the field to his current role. Driven by a desire to provide for his loved ones and excel in his work, he is his own toughest critic and a perfectionist, always striving for excellence.

Office Humor: We asked what Brian's favorite quote is and his response was, "You can’t have a filet mignon lifestyle with a hotdog work ethic!”. Very well-spoken, Brian! 😂
