To the first time Cirrus pilot, the advanced technology and capability of the Perspective+ Avionics feels like magic. To fully take advantage of those powerful tools, it's vital to prioritize tasks. For example, when planning an arrival, first ensure the autopilot is properly set (aviate), program any approaches or routing (navigate), and then set your radio frequencies (communicate). It takes some practice, but your instructor can help you maximize the features of this powerful system to make your flying safe and efficient.⁠

It's spring, and that means April showers are in peak season. Those cloudy days make it a great time to up your flying game through some instrument training. An instrument rating makes you a safer pilot and vastly increases the number of days you can fly. Plus, there's nothing quite like seeing the runway magically appear out of the clouds. ⁠
