Lightweight foam. A tougher exterior.

Expanded polystyrene (EPS) offers creative flexibility for sculptures, props, displays and custom designs. But its fragile surface can leave those creations vulnerable to damage.

Ultimate Linings’ polyurea hard-coatings add a durable, abrasion-resistant exterior that follows the contours of the foam and can be painted to achieve the desired finish. Fast-setting application helps designers and builders turn delicate foam into more resilient finished pieces.

5G shelters house some of the most sensitive equipment in a cellular network, and they don't get to fail quietly. They sit
exposed to everything from humid coastlines to arid desert heat, on steel and concrete structures that need to stay sealed for the long haul.
For a recent project, Ultimate Linings applied one of our pure polyurea systems to a batch of 5G shelters, following a full
surface prep process: sandblasting with black diamond sand, debris removal, temperature-controlled priming with our moisture v***r barrier, and a polyurea application at 80 to 100 mil.
The result is a seamless coating that seals pinholes and voids and forms a continuous moisture barrier over the shelter, protecting the structure underneath from rust, corrosion, and water intrusion. Shelters were ready for transport right after
