At H Wallace Construction, we do more than remodels, additions, fences, decks, etc — sometimes we get to be part of history.

Today, we returned the bell to the beautifully restored Cumberland Church. Removed by our crew in 2013, it took 13 years and a full restoration, but she’s finally back in her rightful home.

We’re honored to help preserve pieces of the past and carry them forward with care. As we prepare to begin another historic project in the coming weeks, we’re reminded that true craftsmanship isn’t just about building — it’s about stewardship, legacy, and doing the work right so it endures for generations.

It's been a while... I've been perfecting my building skills. Actually, the 5 year old has been assisting me. Don't let our lack of Lincoln log building skills convince you to hire that other contractor. I promise you the boss and crew of HWC really do know what they're doing....

Like a bridge over troubled waters.....

This was probably one of the neatest and perhaps most challenging projects we've done. From bringing in the beams to the project site, getting the skid steer stuck in the mud, to nearly tipping it, a run away van and Greg taking a nice tumble slipping on a mossy covered step... you name it. BUT.... here it is.
