We specialize in virtually every facet of coil processing including slitting, tempering, gauge reduction, cut to length, edging, and skiving. Here at RMP, we are dedicated to provi

ding our customers with the highest quality products. Our vast inventory and state of the art equipment allows us to provide the shortest lead times and most reliable deliveries within the industry. With 5 precision slitters, we have the widest range of slitting capabilities for both thickness and width, of any other service center in the South. From light to heavy gauge, narrow to wide widths, RMP is your quality source. All of our slitters are capable of applying PVC film and paper interleaving to protect the finish of your choice. Our 4-Hi Mill allows us to custom temper material to your specifications surpassing industry lead-time standards. Our 2-Hi edging line allows us to provide your required edge conditions, and is also capable of de-cambering. A specialized cut-to-length line delivers edge conditioned pre-cut strip lengths to your specifications, which are ideal for bar stock applications. RMP is ISO 9001 certified to ensure the consistent quality our customers expect on each order. The RMP team of experienced professionals follows Lean Manufacturing principles including one of the most prolific 5-S programs in the business. CONGRATULATIONS and GREAT JOB to AARON WALKER - our Employee of the Month for MAY 2026, as voted for by our team!!

Aaron will also celebrate his 10th anniversary with RMP this month! He has been our lead person in shipping for many years now and plays a significant role in ensuring that our finished products are packaged, tagged, and loaded on-time with perfection for our customers. He can also be found operating our 4-Hi temper mill, 2-Hi edging line and/or helping on the 20” or 48” slitter.

Additionally, Aaron is a valued member of the Behavior Based Safety Team conducting weekly job observations to improve safety, quality, and maintaining our SHARPS status with the state of Tennessee.

CONGRATULATIONS and AWESOME JOB to ADAM DICKENS - our Employee of the Month for APRIL 2026, as voted for by our team!!
Adam, a 13-year veteran with RMP, started his journey in the warehouse working at various slitter helper positions until becoming a premier slitter operator on two of our largest slitting lines … AKA our Michelangelo of slitting.

2+ years ago, Adam was promoted to Purchasing Specialist, buyout our stainless and aluminum raw materials for processing. Adam, having brought his Operations experience to the new position, quickly proved that to be a valuable asset to working and communicating with those suppliers, finding new hight quality suppliers, and ultimately improving our quality for our customers.

We are thankful and fortunate to have ADAM on our team and very proud of his contributions and accomplishments over the years!

Recently, we had our annual PERFECT ATTENDANCE DINNER for our team members that didn't miss a single scheduled day for the entire previous year. A few of them have accomplished this achievement for several years in a row. Our 5 honorees for 2025 were: Deron Alexander, Kaiden Benson, Randy Drennen, Brandon Jones, and Carla Ray. This year's event took place at the restaurant of their choice, Sammy B's in Lebanon, TN, where they and their guest(s) were celebrated!

CONGRATULATIONS and GREAT JOB to JAMILAH CASON - our Employee of the Month for MARCH 2026, as voted for by our team!!

Jamilah, with nearly 13 years at RMP, is the person that keeps us up to date and on-time with our customer orders. He started his career here as a slitter operator, producing excellent quality for our customers on some of their most difficult specifications. Since being promoted to the position of Production Scheduler/ Planner, he has been responsible for ensuring that our customer specifications are translated into clear work orders for our Operations Team to produce perfect quality stainless and aluminum coils on-time for the past 6 years.

His attention to detail, development of our internal leadtimes, and drive to maintain our best-in-class on-time delivery performance is crucial to our performance where it counts -- customer satisfaction.

We are grateful to have Jamilah on our team and thankful for his commitment and dedication to RMP-South's performance.

CONGRATULATIONS and GREAT JOB to JOHNATHAN CULVER - our Employee of the Month – JANUARY 2026, as voted for by our team!!

In just over 4 months since coming on board, Johnathan has become a great contributor to our team and proponent of perfect quality for RMP-South and our customers. He spent the first few months as a helper on our 20" slitter, working with some of our most difficult slitting items where we produce slit coil as narrow as .155".

After quickly picking up the slitter helper position there and proving his ability to perform many tasks and operations, he has been learning to become an operator and is doing very well with very difficult items and tolerances.

We're thankful to have Johnathan on the RMP-South team and look forward to his continued development and success!!

CONGRATULATIONS and GREAT JOB to CJ HARGROVE - our Employee of the Month – DECEMBER 2025, as voted for by our team!!

Since coming to RMP just 5 short months ago, CJ has really learned, performed, and contributed with quality and consistency to our company and for our customers. After he started working as a slitter helper, he quickly began helping and learning various tasks and operations at our skiving and edging lines. He is always engaged and always performing whatever tasks are necessary to get the job done, just as he is currently at our 48" slitter.

We're very lucky to have CJ here at RMP and look forward to his continued development and success!!
