Strong public works practices are built on relationships—with clients, communities, and the people responsible for delivering the work.
Civil Science has an established municipal practice in Idaho, supporting communities through water, wastewater, stormwater, roadway, and other public infrastructure projects. We're looking for a Public Works Division Manager to lead that team and help guide the next stage of its growth.
In this role, you'll:
Lead and grow Civil Science's Idaho Public Works Division
Strengthen relationships with municipal clients and develop new partnerships throughout Idaho
Oversee project delivery, budgets, schedules, staffing, and quality across the division
Lead business development efforts, including pursuits, proposals, interviews, and strategic planning
Mentor and develop engineers, project managers, designers, and technical staff
Collaborate across teams on staffing, financial performance, and market growth
Help build a sustainable backlog of work while maintaining a high standard of project delivery
We're looking for an experienced Professional Engineer who understands Idaho's municipal infrastructure needs and can balance client relationships, project delivery, business development, and people leadership.
Why Civil Science?
As a 100% employee-owned (ESOP) company, every team member has a stake in our shared success. For this leader, that ownership extends to the projects we deliver, the people we develop, and the relationships we build with the communities we serve.
If you're interested in leading a capable team, strengthening municipal partnerships, and helping shape the future of our Public Works practice across Idaho, we'd love to hear from you.
