Chill-out Heating and Air is located in Lennox South Dakota, but serves the entire Sioux Falls Metro area. The company hours are 8:30-5:00 unless otherwise agreed upon. 24 HOUR AFTER HOURS is also available if needed! d mechanics and enrolled in an Air Conditioning and Heating school, (Southeast Technical Institute), where he received his AS degree and then obtained his ASI certification. After working in the field for several years, and not liking they way his employer was forcing him to rush some calls. Mike started chill-out in order to provide a more personal touch for his customers and never looked back. Chill-out heating and air works hard at delivering prompt and reliable service. We pride ourselves in giving our customers what they need and only what they need at a reasonable price. Our philosophy is to approach each customer’s problem as if it were my problem in my home. I will always have a fresh uniform on, and will be at your home within 30 minutes of your scheduled call. If an emergency comes up I will notify you ASAP, I know how frustrating it can be to set and wait for someone to show up. Chill-out heating and air has chosen the flat rate method to determine what the cost of a repair job will be to its’ customers. For the customer, that means that the price of a repair is clearly stated in our repair book. I not raise the price or give a different price to another customer for the same repair job. This eliminates the practice of over charging no matter how hot or cold it may be. Another advantage to our customers of our flat rate pricing policy is that the price is given before the repair work is started and, no matter how long it takes, we stick to our price quote, no surprises. I don't usually do this but I have to vent a little. I got called to a elderly couples (80+) home to look at their furnace that was making noise. They where told by another company from Sioux Falls that they needed a new furnace and would need a new A/C also. So these poor people are sticker shocked looking at ($8000-$12000) and not sure what to do. Thank goodness, they wanted a second opinion. This is where I come in. The noise was a $400 dollar part and $502 to complete the fix and inspect, the furnace is 31 years old and will need replaced one day, but not today! Some might say they should have put the $500 towards the new furnace, this depends on the customer's situation. Every situation will be different, but I cant stand it when other companies are scaring people, so that they can sell new equipment.

I always try to treat the customer as if it where my Mom or myself and what would I do in their situation. Sometimes the customer just wants what they want and that's fine, in the end it is their call. But I sure can sleep better at night knowing I don't have to sell equipment to people that don't need it.

Got this new 100,000 BTU Liberty furnace installed and warming the customer up. Old furnace took a dump over the weekend. A new 3 1/2 ton Liberty A/C unit will be hooked up if summer ever decides to show up! Liberty is a new product line that I have chosen to be a dealer for. Great pricing and a great product.
