A once-underutilized historic building is thriving once again. The Wright Block Residences has transformed the historic 1898 Wright Building into a vibrant mixed-use development featuring 35 apartments, with 20% of the units designated as affordable housing, and six storefronts. Today, we're proud to share that the residential community is fully occupied, bringing new energy and activity to downtown Pittsfield, MA.

The Allegrone team was proud to join Community Build Day at Williams Elementary School in Pittsfield, helping put the finishing touches on the school's new playground before students return this fall.

Led by our own Project Manager, Joe Simon, and Williams Elementary School PTO, teams of volunteers came together bright and early with wheelbarrows, rakes, and plenty of enthusiasm to spread the final layer of wood chips throughout the playground. It was a great example of what can be accomplished when a community comes together to create something meaningful for local students.

State funding plays a critical role in strengthening our communities, supporting infrastructure, creating opportunities, and driving long-term economic growth. We're thankful for programs like the Housing Development Incentive Program (HDIP) that help make high-impact developments in Gateway Cities across the state financially viable.

Allegrone Cos. received $4 million in state funding to help close financing gaps in the developer's proposed mixed-use redevelopment of the Berkshire County Savings Bank. When completed, the historic building

With July 4th and America's 250th on the horizon, we wanted to take a moment to look back at some of the landmarks we've been entrusted to care for over the years.

The Statue of Liberty. Dorchester Heights. The Shaw Memorial. Sites like these are more than monuments, they're where the country's history unfolded, and Allegrone Companies has been fortunate enough to help protect that legacy.

Honored to have played a part in the last 250 years of this story. Looking forward to the next 250.

Building the future of our communities requires more than just blueprints, it takes vision and the right tools.

We are incredibly grateful to be recognized alongside a slate of impactful projects and to see the launch of the Commercial Conversion Tax Credit Initiative (CCTCI). This initiative is a game-changer, bridging the feasibility gap for complex developments that would otherwise remain out of reach.

Without these vital funding sources and the support of our state and local partners, projects like this simply wouldn't happen. We’re honored to be part of the solution in creating more affordable housing units for our community.
