A 130‑year‑old cornerstone at the entrance to downtown Pittsfield is ready for new life. Once a bank, now vacant, this historic building will soon become a vibrant mixed‑income residential community with reactivated storefronts on Park Square.
These complex projects happen only through vision, partnership, and tools like the new Commercial Conversion Tax Credit Initiative—Thank you to the Governor Maura Healey-Driscoll Administration and Secretary Augustus and team for their leadership and vision in making initiatives like this possible
Thank you, Mayor Peter Marchetti and Community Development Director Justine Dodds, for your proactive vision and being out front with Massachusetts Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities, enabling our private sector and Pittsfield to seize these opportunities.
Congratulations to all awardees—each project strengthens its community and moves the Commonwealth forward.
