INCIDENT REPORT: UNAUTHORIZED THERMOSTAT ADJUSTMENT

We've received reports of suspicious activity involving thermostats being adjusted to increasingly aggressive temperatures.

If you're constantly changing the thermostat because your home isn't comfortable, it may be worth looking at the system rather than continuing to chase the temperature setting.

Proper airflow, system operation, thermostat location and equipment condition can all affect comfort.

Our recent page audit shows we've been leaning way too far into overly technical HVAC jargon lately, even when presented in a humorous fashion. Naturally, we are taking this very seriously. We have scheduled a high-level Fall Content Planning Session for tomorrow to completely overhaul our approach. A full agenda has been prepared, and strict focus will be maintained.

According to a late-night Google search on "how to run a page," we are supposed to share our goals and drop a picture of our Strategy Task Force in action tomorrow to demonstrate we are taking things seriously.

🚨 HVAC CHECKPOINT – INCIDENT REPORT #003

Today's inspection uncovered a decorative mulch volcano surrounding an outdoor air conditioning unit.

The landscaping looks great.

The air conditioner would prefer to breathe.

In all seriousness, piling mulch, soil, leaves, or other landscaping materials around your outdoor unit can restrict airflow and make it harder for the system to operate efficiently. It can also make routine maintenance and service more difficult.

Keep the area around your outdoor unit clear and give it the room it needs to do its job.

Your flower beds can be beautiful.

They just don't need to include the air conditioner.
