Summit Mechanical & Fab is a growing industrial mechanical contractor specializing in quality fabrication, welding, equipment installation, and mechanical services. We are seeking an experienced Field Foreman to provide leadership in the field and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of workmanship.

Primary Responsibilities
• Lead, supervise, and mentor field personnel on industrial mechanical projects.
• Coordinate daily job site activities to ensure projects remain on schedule and meet quality expectations.
• Perform and oversee welding, fabrication, equipment installation, maintenance, and repairs.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies and industry standards.
• Identify and resolve field challenges while maintaining productivity and workmanship.
• Maintain clear communication with project managers, customers, subcontractors, and field personnel.
• Foster a culture of professionalism, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications
• Experience in industrial mechanical construction, welding, fabrication, and equipment installation.
• Previous experience as a Foreman or in a field leadership role is preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Commitment to delivering safe, high-quality work.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.

Another successful machinery relocation completed by Summit Mechanical & Fab.
Our team removed this equipment from a local manufacturing facility, safely rigged and loaded each component for transport, and relocated the system to the customer’s facility in Tennessee.

Projects like this require careful planning, proper rigging, and an experienced crew to ensure equipment is removed and transported safely without unnecessary downtime or damage.

Another successful industrial relocation project completed by the team.

For this project, our crew safely removed five machines from the facility while strategically relocating seven additional machines within the plant to accommodate the customer's new production layout. Through careful planning, precision rigging, and efficient ex*****on, we completed the relocation while minimizing disruption to the customer's operations.

Once each machine was positioned, our team precision-leveled every machine to the required specifications, helping ensure proper alignment, reliable operation, and long-term performance.

To provide a true turnkey solution, we then completed the project by reconnecting the required electrical power and compressed air systems, leaving the machines ready for the customer's startup and production process.
