• Ability to work independently
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Weekend and shutdown work occasionally
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals for equipment installation and repair
• Requires the ability to utilize mathematical formulas; adding and subtracting totals; multiplying and dividing
• Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment, safety glasses, hard hat with chin strap, reflective safety vest, gloves, ear protection, face shield, safety toe boots
Responsibilities
• You will oversee and assist with construction operations and ensure compliance with safety standards to keep operations running smoothly
• Your expertise will be pivotal in maintaining our high operational standards and fostering a productive work environment
• Assist, Supervise and coordinate the activities of an Industrial crew engaged in installation and repair of industrial equipment and facilities
• Train and mentor crew members to enhance their technical skills and knowledge
• Schedule project work
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational problems in a timely manner to minimize downtime
• Projects ranging from machinery installation/ modifications to structural steel demo/installation
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals for equipment installation and repair
• Manage quality of work on project
• Resolve any personnel issues amongst crewmembers
• Share with crew overall project plan as well as short-term goals
• strong background in welding and fabrication

Our team has successfully assembled the new hoppers and removed the old ones, paving the way for installation. Next, we'll be installing the new hoppers and setting up the custom-fabricated conveyors beneath them. We're excited to report that this upgrade will enhance the plant's production efficiency, and we look forward to sharing the final results soon!

Summit had a busy week, tackling some exciting projects!

Our team completed a significant job in Georgia, which involved replacing the screws on two scrubbers, along with installing new motors and gear boxes, and completing all electrical work. We also assembled and hung a stainless steel conveyor for another client, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

Back at the shop, we've been hard at work fabricating two large hoppers, ready for installation at another facility next week. These custom solutions are what set us apart!
