This customer’s blower motor gave out, but the rest of the system was still in good shape. A quick motor swap had the air moving again and saved them from replacing the entire unit.

Get your maintenance done while you can!

The extreme summer heat puts a serious strain on your system. A professional tune up can help catch small problems before they turn into expensive repairs or leave you without AC.

This customer invested nearly $18,000 in a top of the line inverter air conditioning system. Everything was running well, but here is what we noticed during our inspection.

The drain line was sweating heavily because it was not properly insulated, especially around the P trap. There was also no cleanout to properly treat and maintain the drain line, increasing the risk of water backing up into the system.

The crown jewel of the installation, the outdoor inverter unit, also had no electrical storm protection. With sensitive inverter technology, proper surge protection can help prevent a very expensive repair.

We explained that although everything was operating correctly today, a few preventative improvements could help protect their investment and prolong the life of this amazing system. The customer agreed, and we will be returning this week to get everything properly protected for years to come.

This customer called us out over the weekend after their system stopped keeping up.

We found rust on the indoor coil that had developed a pin hole leak. Instead of immediately pushing a full system replacement or an overpriced repair, we gave the customer another option. We recharged the system and added leak seal, knowing a small pin hole leak has a good chance of sealing up and giving them more time.

We never do a job halfway, so we checked the rest of the system while we were there. The capacitor was also testing out of spec, and the customer chose to replace it before it caused another breakdown.

Sometimes the right repair is not the most expensive one. It is the one that makes the most sense for the customer.
