Trunk or Treat 2026 🎃

We couldn’t have asked for a better day for Trunk or Treat this past Sunday! We loved hosting our annual event at Deanbuilds with our friends at DV8 Kitchen. Thanks to everyone who brought a trunk, helped out, or stopped by to celebrate with us. We’re glad to keep this tradition going and share a little Halloween fun with our community. 👻

We’re proud to share that The Vista at Origin Park has received a 2026 ABC Indiana/Kentucky Excellence in Construction Award of Merit!

Designed as a distinctive gathering place within Origin Park, The Vista combines striking mass-timber construction, natural materials and thoughtfully landscaped outdoor spaces that connect the building to its surrounding environment.

This recognition celebrates the craftsmanship, collaboration and dedication that brought the project to life. Congratulations to our Deanbuilds team, project partners and trade contractors whose hard work made this achievement possible.

A few weeks ago, we proudly broke ground on the Towards Freedom Park in downtown Lexington.

Deanbuilds’ Self-Perform Division is honored to lead the construction of this important project, turning a shared vision into a lasting community space that recognizes Lexington’s history and celebrates freedom.

We are grateful to the dedicated volunteers and community partners who have championed this project, as well as everyone working to make this new plaza and park possible at the corner of North Limestone and Fourth Street.

Another Wawa is officially open!

Today, our team celebrated the grand opening of Wawa’s newest Louisville location off Taylorsville Road. This marks the second Wawa project completed by Deanbuilds, a milestone that reflects the strong relationships, collaboration, and attention to detail behind every build.

Proud to support a cause that’s making a difference in our community!

Deanbuilds was once again proud to sponsor the 2026 DV8K Life-Changing Run. The team showed up Saturday morning to support the cause, run the course, and be part of this special event.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to support DV8 Kitchen and the incredible work they do in our community, and we didn’t mind heading home with a box of cookies after the run! 🍪

The Scott County Humane Society has officially cut the ribbon on the new Dale Lois Osier Adoption Center.

Made possible entirely through generous donations, the new adoption center was proudly built by the Deanbuilds Self Perform Division. The facility features dedicated adoption rooms for dogs and cats, a recovery and wellness room, community meeting space, a pet food bank, laundry facilities, meet-and-greet areas, a grooming room, and a catio.

The Deanbuilds Self Perform Team was honored to help bring Architect Meredith Guy and the Scott County Humane Society Board's vision to life. This new facility will make a lasting impact by providing a safe, welcoming space for pets while helping to connect more animals with loving families throughout Scott County.

Once Interns, Now Project Coordinators and College Graduates! 🎓

We couldn't let this milestone pass without recognizing Mallory and Quinn on graduating from college and officially joining Deanbuilds full time as Project Coordinators.

Both began their careers with Deanbuilds as interns and quickly became valued members of our team through their hard work, eagerness to learn, and dedication to serving our projects and clients. We're proud to support the next generation of construction professionals and excited to continue investing in their growth and development.
