CD3 Technology products were created with safety at the forefront of the design. Conductive Electrical Weapons can interrupt the rhythms of the heart, especially those with histories of cardiac complications. We discuss medical considerations in our initial training sessions, and during the recertification process which is required to be completed every two years.

Our G.L.O.V.E., E-Band, and E-Vest, all provide safer levels of stimulation with less-lethal technology and capabilities to reduce medical errors when handling combative subjects than other higher use of force options. Less medical complications means more public trust and less chances for litigation that can impact insurance and budgets.

The odds of Officer injuries increase by 36% when subject displays active resistance & higher. The chances get higher as the time spent struggling and amount of force used increases. Cuffing and restraining subjects is often one of the most difficult tasks to gain compliance for. The CD3 G.L.O.V.E. has helped officers reduce the amount of time spent gaining compliance from individuals, reducing chances of injuries to themselves and subjects.

Lower injury rates are better for all parties involved. It lessens the chances that the agency will be sued for use of force violations, keeps officers healthy and fully staffed, and creates more trust from the community. CD3 Technology is not the answer for every situation or a replacement for higher use of force tools or weapons. It is a helping hand when officers have to go hands-on.

Conductive DISTRACTION de-escalation device. CD3 gives officers an advantage by providing an uncomfortable, non-invasive stimulation to the subject. This stimulation deters them from continuing combative or non-compliant actions. Many officers and agencies have eliminated or drastically reduced issues with compliance during blood draws, transportations, and issues with door slots in correctional facilities.

Other options for combating violent individuals can cause more injuries or escalate the situation further. They can also eat into budgets with additional costs for refilling ammunition or cartridges. The CD3 Technology line up is durable with low maintenance costs. The devices do not burn or pe*****te flesh and require much less post stimulation medical clearance. Less medical clearance allows infirmaries, emergency rooms, and medical personnel to be available for individuals who need them.

If you’re attending the International Law Enforcement Educators and Trainers Association (ILEETA) conference in St. Louis Missouri this March, registration is now open for certification courses. We will be there teaching our instructor course for both the CD3 G.L.O.V.E. and E-Band. This course will show individuals the basics of the devices, the medical considerations, and cover the potential uses and scenarios for the device. Our course will be 8:00 am -4:45 pm, Friday March 20th. Pre-registration is required for certifications. Registration is limited to conference attendees. If you register for a limited registration course and have not registered for the conference within 24-hours your certification registration will be canceled.
