FROM A WAREHOUSE FLOOR PLAN TO A STORAGE SYSTEM BUILT FOR BUSINESS!

Every warehouse has different storage needs, and this project is a great example of why proper planning matters. Before the first upright ever goes into the concrete, Pallet Rack World works through the layout, dimensions, load requirements, aisle space, and overall warehouse flow to make sure the finished system works for the customer.
This configuration features 16-foot-tall pallet rack with 8-foot-wide bays and 42-inch-deep uprights, creating multiple levels of storage while making efficient use of the available warehouse space. The design also shows back-to-back rack rows with 6-inch row spacers, helping maximize storage density without sacrificing the functionality of the warehouse.

From Empty Warehouse to 360 Pallet Positions | Indian Food Distributor Warehouse Setup. When an Indian food distributor in High Point, North Carolina needed to maximize their newly acquired 10,000-square-foot warehouse, they reached out to Robby Reighley and the team at Pallet Rack World for help.

After the initial call over a month and a half ago, Robby conducted an on-site visit to evaluate the space and understand the customer’s operational needs. From there, a custom warehouse layout was designed to optimize storage capacity, workflow, and future growth.

To help keep costs down, the customer chose quality used pallet racking, allowing them to get the storage capacity they needed while staying within budget. The final solution included 60 bays of pallet racking, creating 360 pallet positions for inventory storage.

Today, this warehouse is equipped to support the customer’s growing business and nationwide distribution of Indian food products across the United States.
