Intercounty Electric is an electric cooperative, built by the communities we serve to deliver reliable, sustainable and affordable energy. And because we answer to local members like you, rather than out-of-town shareholders, our electric cooperative has a unique understanding

our local needs. In fact, most of our leaders and employees live here in your communities. We are local and serve over 30,000 connected meters on 5,760 miles of line in all or part of ten counties (Dent, Phelps, Texas, Crawford, Gasconade, Laclede, Maries, Pulaski, Shannon, & Wright). Across the country, electric co-ops work together to restore power during major outages, develop new technologies and build/maintain infrastructure that benefits us all. The opportunity to create something new here, while embracing traditional community values, has never been greater.
