This client had some severe drainage issues from the last 60 years of gravel being added on top of gravel causing water to run towards the front of their home.

- We installed 50’ of NDS trench inlets along with 275’ of 4” solid piping to alleviate the sheet flow and gutter run off to the front ditch.
- Then cut and exported the excess mixture of every type of gravel imaginable to get to a proper subgrade before importing in RAP, setting to grade, and compacting into place.
- Finished it off with seed, straw and EC2.

Another demo completed successfully.

Following nearly five months from the initial site assessment to demobilization, this project has reached completion.

A demolition project entails numerous logistical components, including utility disconnects, inspections, and permits.

Each municipality possesses distinct requirements, and while some projects can progress from initial estimation to demobilization within 30 days, others necessitate more extensive paperwork, permits, inspections, and patience.

Our crew was out here doing what we do best! Solving issues that municipalities, VDOT, and HOA’s wasn’t willing to take responsibility for.

This client was consistently losing ground in their backyard due to erosion and a pipe that was never long enough to take storm runoff away from damaging their property.

We took to it and lengthened their pipe, reinstalled the FES, imported over 130 tons of fill, 40 tons of rip rap, and topsoil to dress this backyard back out and gain them more land than they had when they bought the home new.
