Position: Project Manager / Estimator
Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager/Estimator to lead and coordinate various projects within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in leadership, and demonstrate proficiency in communication and construction methods. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, effective communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering projects on time and within scope.
This position is a 40-45 hour a week position. We are based in Lima, Ohio, and service Lima and the surrounding communities.
Duties
• Conduct initial meetings with potential customers to cover design build options.
• Work with local subcontractors to prepare budget and bids for potential customers.
• Oversee the multiple project lifecycles from rough sketch through closure, while tracking project budget.
• Supports program design and implementation by facilitating communication between the customer, and subcontractors.
• Assist in the preparation of project documents including contracts, change orders, submittals and pay applications.
• Facilitate meetings to communicate updates, address challenges, and align team efforts towards achieving project goals.
Preferred Experience
• Demonstrated ability in change management and supervising teams effectively.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate teams towards achieving common objectives.
• Ability to manage risks proactively while ensuring adherence to budgeting constraints.
