Kaser Blasting & Coatings We specialize in abrasive blasting, powder coating, and liquid coating. Our blasting booth measures 18 feet wide by 50 feet long by 15 feet tall.

This is big enough to handle large equipment like concrete trucks, garbage trucks, roll offs, dumpsters, dump trucks, backhoes, bulldozers, skid loaders, enclosed semi-trailers, and commercial-sized recycling bins. But it doesn't stop there! We have a 4ft by 4ft blast cabinet used for blasting small pieces and parts. Media blasting, sandblasting, painting and powder coating can be done regardless

of weather or season. Rain, snow or cold temperatures do not stop us from blasting. We also have a separate paint booth to meet your painting and specialty coating needs. Separate blast and paint booths minimizes your equipment downtime, which saves you time and money.

We're breaking down exactly what it looks like inside the booth partway through blasting this classic convertible body.

If you look closely at the panel, you can see three distinct layers:
1️⃣ Unblasted: The original top layers of old finish.
2️⃣ Bare Metal: What a clean, completely uniform slate looks like after a precision media blast.
3️⃣ Bondo: Legacy body filler left behind from previous bodywork.

When we blast, the different materials immediately show up as distinct colors and textures. Experienced technicians can control the blasting media stream at the edge of the filler line. In this case, the customer wants the bondo left intact, so we can carefully clean up the metal around it without totally removing the existing bodywork.

Every project that rolls into our booth has a unique game plan. 🚗🛠️

We are midway through blasting this classic GTO body. As we got into it, we uncovered a massive amount of old bondo hiding in the quarter panels from previous bodywork. Normally, we blast all of that filler out to reveal the bare metal underneath—though in this case, if we did, there probably wouldn’t be much of a fender left!

The customer actually asked us to leave the bondo completely alone for now since he might be replacing the entire quarter panels anyway.

We always adapt our process to match exactly what our customers need for their specific restoration goals.
