Team Mudcat’s Precision Machine had a good day today during the CMP mid range nationals. 400-24x for the Palma class win. Both David and John used 223 Palma rifles smithed by Mudcats Precision Machine. John is still using prototype Gen 1 Mudcat rear sight on this rifle. The first one produced by the shop. Great shooting and coaching guys!!

For those with interest in 22LR suppressors, I will be doing a demo/test session with a 3D printed'ish suppressor that retails for a buck twenty nine! Form 3 is done and its on the way to me. Will do some video and pics of the test session and then will determine if I will stock them as a ready to do a form 4 type item. I move a lot of Dead Air and Rugged 22 suppressors, but have been looking for a cheaper alternative to get the newbies into the suppressor use arena and this MIGHT be it. Stay tuned.

Bill Bowers sent a "progress report" for the 6x47 barrel that I did for him about a year ago. This time another monster score/group at 1,000 yards. of course he said "Last week at Reade Range. My hold is no longer good but a good barrel job helps. 6x47 Lapua Berger 105 hybrid H4350" Well, not sure about you guys, but I am pretty sure his hold is pretty dang good! So much so, a Mudcats Precision Machine tshirt is headed his way! You earned it!

Got a batch of sights done and shipping out Tuesday for those that already ordered and paid. I had enough parts left to make four extra. First come first served on those four. No clue when I will do another batch with hay season upon us and the shooting season ramping up. Oh, and I did a couple left handed ones in addition to those right handed ones.

Well, I may not be shooting my best at Camp Butner this week, but one of clients certainly is! Just got this email:
"Love that Krieger!! I should have ordered 2 barrels from you. I am going to be sad when this one has to be retired. Shot our local 3x600 yesterday and the barrel was a laser. Won the match!
