We dropped and removed 20 trees total on this job. It started with 7, then 11, then it looked so good they added 9 more for a total of 20. Big shout out to Joey Rowe with Absolute Tree Care for sending a few guys and his chipper truck at a great price! They chipped all 20 trees and hauled Wood for Warriors 3 loads of mulch in 1 full day. 😎💪 We have a few days of grinding stumps and then we will be starting a covered back porch at this job. We put 7 Bradford Pear trees on the ground on NYE. Heading back today for 5 more. We will be grinding all the stumps as well. We have a 60ft culvert to install. A covered 18x22 porch to build, and a lean-to off of a detached storage building. God is good! Thankful to have a few weeks of work lined up. ✝️

This gum tree was dead and fairly dangerous with the overhead widow makers. Lots of unknowns lurk inside a tree with visible rot in the trunk. I incorporated a few of the things I've learned watching 2 of my favorite fellers Timberkutterpatriot and Boys In The Woods! 🤙 As always, the wood will all be delivered to Wood for Warriors for processing and delivery of free firewood to local veterans!

We had the biggest Holly I've ever seen on the felling list today. 8 trunks out of this 60in diameter stump. The tree was half this size when the home was built in 1955. It was a shame to have to cut it, but some of the biggest trunks were leaning hard towards the house. Plus, the amount of berries coming off it was insane! It makes a mess when you run them over on the driveway. As always Wood for Warriors will turn it into warmth for our local veterans. God is good! 🙌

Working behind other subs can be challenging. This one was horrendous. I've never seen a "framing crew" that didn't use a string and levels! 🫣 We were hired to finish this carport remodel for a local realtor. We made chicken salad out of the chicken poo he was left with by the previous crew he hired! Sometimes "saving money" cost you more in the long run. Everything is safe and ready for inspection now. 😎 Please don't pay twice for the same work. Call us to get your job done correctly the first time! God bless. 🙏❤️

We started another tree and stump removal this week. God is good! One of our local veterans called with a beautiful red oak and massive pecan tree they needed out of their yard. They are remodeling the home and didn't want these dangerous trees potentially destroying what they have built. We give veterans a significant discount for their service towards our freedom. 🫡 We would be happy to come out and provide a free estimate on your next home or lawn renovation! As always, Wood for Warriors will receive deliverly of the usable wood to heat homes for our local veterans! 🇺🇸💪❤️🙏

Raylan (my youngest) and I got our on today! We cleared some downed trees and a few widow makers off the walking trail at his school this afternoon. You always have to be paying attention when you have limbs hung up and broken off like this. As always, I thank God for the protection each and every day. This work is dangerous and it takes lives of even those with plenty of experience. ✝️ All the logs will be donated to Wood for Warriors and processed into free firewood for local our veterans! ❤️🇺🇸💪🙏

Finished product...God is good, all the time! If he ain't, then you lyin! 🙌 This one had lots of obstacles to overcome. We started by adding an exterior 4ft window in the brick wall. Framed a closet, walk-in shower and the new window. Tiled the floors, walls, and walk-in shower. We moved and added lots of electrical between the lights, switches, and outlets. Put in the cedar ceiling. 7 lights. Fixed a bunch of drywall. Finished trim and painted. Installed and wired in new exhaust fan/heater. The vanity was custom built by Josh Thomas with Thomas Trades LLC. N2 Granite did the vanity top and a seat top in the shower.
