Schedule Pipe Prefabrication & Field-Ready Spools

S3 Welding provides precision stainless steel schedule pipe fabrication and prefabricated piping spools for petrochemical facilities, refineries, flare and ignitor systems, burner systems, fuel-gas piping, and other critical process applications.

These particular spools were fabricated from 310 stainless steel, selected for its superior high-temperature performance in demanding service. Specialized welding procedures and careful heat control are essential to preserve the material’s heat-resistant properties and maximize long-term reliability.

Shop-prefabricated spools reduce field welding, improve fit-up, and help keep industrial installations on schedule.

S3 Welding’s sales force and PM team was onsite with a client looking over a project to give an estimate on when this little side quest popped up.

A couple quick measurements by our sales staff and a days work fabricating these replacement spools in our shop was all that was needed to get this turned around for them in 2 days with a scheduled line break for our team to install! 💪

Because of the skilled craftsmen we have on our team these prefab spools dropped right into place, meaning less expensive onsite time was required of us and minimal downtime of their process was needed. We were able to provide a full weld doc and passivation report with these spools. After passivation we seal the ports to ensure the part doesn’t become contaminated in transit. It’s the attention to the little details that have always made us shine 💪
