When disaster strikes, rebuilding can’t always wait.

After Hurricane Helene damaged a Norfolk Southern railway bridge in Tennessee, Veritas Steel helped fabricate the replacement on an accelerated timeline. Production began December 20th, deliveries started February 23rd, and the project was completed March 13th.

That’s 84 days from production to completion, helping get critical rail infrastructure back in service.

Bridge Feature: Wisconsin and Southern Railroad Bridge

Located in Merrimac, Wisconsin, the Wisconsin and Southern Railroad Bridge replaced a 123-year-old structure spanning the Yahara River. Veritas Steel proudly fabricated 240 tons of structural steel for this project, helping create a bridge that will support rail transportation for years to come.

After 20 years with Veritas Steel, Lori is beginning a well-earned new chapter.

Her years of dedication, hard work, and commitment have made a lasting impact, and we're grateful for everything she's contributed along the way.

As for what's next? Lori is looking forward to nurturing her sourdough starter, spending time rockhounding along the shores, and finally diving into the stack of books waiting for her from the library.
