This pool house shower features a stunning application of scallop tiles (also known as fish scale tiles). This ancient pattern, found in everything from Roman mosaics to Art Deco facades, offers a timeless organic and whimsical feel.

Design tip: how you point a scallop tile completely shifts the energy of a room... we pointed the tiles down to create a “teardrop” or “falling water” effect that feels fluid and contemporary.

By blending multiple blue tones in a randomized ombré effect, we’ve added a sense of depth that reflects the water just outside the door!
